Nando Biography
Nando's real name is Fernando, but the mariachis like to call him Nando for short. It's faster, they say. And fast is important because the mariachis have a lot of places to go and Nando needs to get them there.
Nando loves driving the mariachis, because wherever the mariachis go, there's music. And wherever there's music, there's a fiesta! Weddings, carnivals, or any event, Nando's always there first.
Sometimes the music moves him so much, Nando wishes he could sing along. But Nando is happy knowing that even if he can't carry a tune, he can still carry the mariachis. So Nando does have music in him-even if it's only for a short drive across town.
Wherever you find music, you'll find Nando. That's why he heads to Chevron for all his performance needs. Nando knows that even if he can't sing, he'll never miss a beat. In fact, he feels so good, he could just burst into song! Usually though, Nando just plays his horn.

El verdadero nombre de Nando es Fernando, pero a los mariachis les gusta llamarlo Nando, por ser más corto. Así es más rápido, dicen. Y es importante que sea rápido, porque los mariachis tienen que ir a muchos lugares y Nando es quien se encarga de llevarlos.
A Nando le encanta llevar a los mariachis porque dondequiera que ellos van, hay música. ¡ Y donde hay música, hay fiesta! Se trate de bodas, carnavales o cualquier evento, Nando siempre llego primero.
Algunas veces la música le inspira tanto que a Nando le dan ganas de cantar. Pero Nando se siente feliz porque sabe que aunque no puede llevar el ritmo, sí puede llevar a los mariachis. Así, Nando realmente lleva la música por dentro. Aunque sólo sea para pasear por el pueblo.
Donde hay música, allí está Nando. Es por eso que él va a Chevron para todo lo que necesita. Nando sabe que aunque no puede cantar, no le va a hacer falta el ritmo. De hecho, ¡se siente tan bien que de repente podría salir cantando! Pero por lo general, Nando sólo toca la bocina.
