There has been a lot of hullabaloo lately about a certain super hero. Is he, or isn’t he? Where is he? What’s he doing? Does he even care any more? We are not talking superman here folks, (although he used to wear red and some swear he CAN fly!).

We are talking the man, the myth, the magic himself, Michael Jordan.

What is Michael up to these days? MJ, as he is affectionately called, now has a job as President of Basketball Operations with a new basketball franchise, the Washington Wizards. Oh, and he also plays a lot of golf.

MJ is helping (and hoping) to lead the Wizards to being a better team next year. Let’s hope so, they were pretty bad this year with a big losing record.

But, the big question recently has been, is MJ coming out of retirement to shine in the game of basketball once again? There have been all kinds of rumors floating around lately. Even his buddy Charles Barkeley is rumored to be coming out of retirement and has hinted that he and MJ will make announcements to this effect this summer.

MJ, on the other hand, claims to be too old and says his back hurts. This seems to be an unlikely story. He is not too old, he is just playing a little game with the media and the public. He has done this before. In fact, he quit basketball and played pro baseball a few years back. But in the end, he came back to basketball and won 3 more championships.

As for now, these rumors are just that, rumors. We will have to wait and see.
