Mark McGwire is one of the greatest baseball players today. He is also an all around super cool dude that likes to help kids!

Regarding his baseball skills…he is basically unstoppable. He plays first base for the St. Louis Cardinals and is super tough at this position. But, he is really known for his power behind the bat. You may remember a couple of years ago that he and Sammy Sosa were battling it out for the most homeruns in one year. It was an exciting and dramatic season, with McGwire finally beating out Sosa with 70 homers. His total now is 556. Not quite the all time leader yet, but he is rapidly approaching this.
