Blaine Wilson Olympics Diary: July 5, 2004

In the last interview you talked about the importance of showing everyone that you were “back” at the Trials. How do you feel now that they are over?
I feel pretty good about it. I did all six events and I chose to do all six events because that’s how I started my career and that’s what I wanted to do at that meet. I definitely think it went well for me and it’s continuously getting better.
After competition, how did your shoulder feel? Your bicep?
Both felt okay. My shoulder was a little jammed on the high bar, but other than that, I felt good.
What was the greatest part of being in Anaheim?
Definitely getting to see my wife and my baby.
Did you get to do anything fun while you were there?
I did get to go to Disney Land with my family so that was a lot of fun!
If you could change one thing from your performance at the Trials, what would it be?
Probably just being stronger overall on the second day of competition.
