How to Make a Scrapbook
Are you the kind of person who saves everything? Have you ever been told to clean your room, but you just don’t have the heart to throw stuff away? If you answered yes to these questions (and even if you didn’t) making a scrapbook is a neat idea to save some of your things for a long time and in turn, save your memories. And your memories, in a way, are pieces of yourself.
What you’ll need:
- Lots of construction paper
- Yarn, ribbon or string
- Glue or tape
- Hole puncher
- Things you want to save
What to do:
- Punch holes down the sides of your construction paper (you can do it either the long way or the short way it doesn’t matter)
- Run the yarn, ribbon or string through the holes and tie them so you now have a bound book
- Take anything that is important to you and glue it into the pages
You obviously can’t glue large toys but here are a few ideas to get you going:
- Newspaper clippings about you or something important to you
- Stickers
- Pictures
- Letters
- Awards
- A good report card
Keep adding to your scrapbook as the years go on, and this way you’ll be able to look at all of your memories in one place.
