Crafts: String of Jack-O-Lanterns
How about making a Jack-o-Lantern that does not need a pumpkin? That does not go bad over time, but can live in your room or basement from Halloween to Halloween, for better or worse? You’ve come to the right place.
What you’ll need:
- Orange and black construction paper
- Crayons
- Scissors
- Tape and glue
- Orange glitter
- Green thread or string
What to do:
- Draw circular shapes for jack-o-lantern faces on pieces of orange construction paper. No two pumpkins look exactly alike, so feel free to make each shape unique. Be sure to also draw a long stem on top of the pumpkin.
- Cut out you pumkin face.
- Using black construction paper, cut out a pair of eyes, a noses and a mouth for each of your pumpkins.
- Give your pumpkins personality by gluing on eyes, nose and mouth.
- Decorate your pumpkins with orange glitter. Let dry.
- Fold pumpkin stems in half and place over string. Tape stem down to the back side of pumpkin.
- Hang your string of jack-o-lanterns across any room. A great decoration.
