Anyone can enjoy paper snowflakes, whether they live in snow country or in the warm Hawaiian islands. You can make simple snowflakes all on your own. And just like real snow, it would be truly amazing if you could make any two of them just alike! Ask an adult to help you. You’ll be surprised at how beautiful the snowflakes you can make are.

• Square pieces of white paper (remember that each of the four sides is exactly the same length)
• Scissors

1. Fold a piece of paper in half diagonally so that it looks like a triangle.
2. Now fold the triangle in half again. You should have a smaller triangle.
3. And fold it in half one more time.
4. Cut a pattern along each of the three sides.
5. Carefully unfold the paper to discover your own personal snowflake!
