When nice summer weather comes, there are lot of ways to have fun outside.

Try making your own colorful sidewalk chalk to produce beautiful art on your sidewalk or driveway. The best part is, you can wash it away when your done, and it doesn’t make a mess. Here’s our recipe for your own unique chalk:

• 1 cup Plaster of Paris
• 1 cup water
• Powdered tempera paint
• Toilet paper roll, or small paper cup (this will be your mold for the chalk)

1. Mix Plaster of Paris and water together.
2. Add temera paint for color
3. Leave for a few minutes then pour into desired mold
4. Set aside and let dry. This could take a whole day depending on the size of the mold you choose
5. Once dry, draw away!
