PRINT ITMagic Lens
This is an easy experiment that you can do at home.
- A magnifying glass or lens
- A dark room
- A television turned on
- A sheet of white paper
- Stand a few feet away from the television and hold your lens so that the light of the television shines through it.
- Hold the piece of paper on the other side of the lens so that the light shines through the lens and onto the paper
- The paper will act as a screen (like a movie screen) and you’ll see the picture of the television on your paper, but what is different?
- It might be hard to do at first, but keep trying, you’ll get it. And, you’ll notice that the picture will be backwards and upside down.
