Easter Chick
To go with your dyed Easter eggs, how about an Easter chick?
Not a real one that chirps of course, but one that you can make and keep and might look just like the real thing.
- yellow food coloring
- cotton balls
- egg carton
- scissors
- marker
- shredded paper (any color)
- orange paper
- Dilute yellow food coloring with water.
- Dip one large cotton ball into the mixture and let dry.
- Cut egg carton into individual sections
- Place a bit of shredded paper in bottom of section.
- When yellow cotton ball is dry, draw eyes on top with marker
- Cut out very small triangle of orange paper
- Glue triangle onto yellow cotton ball for chick’s beak.
- Sit chick in carton section to make an Easter basket home for it.
