Yogurt on a Stick
Here’s a fun and healthy way to cool off this summer. It’s quick and easy too.
Be sure to make enough for friends and family and ask a responsible adult to help you.
- yogurt in your favorite flavor
- small paper cups
- plastic wrap
- wooden popsicle sticks
- Fill the cups with yogurt, but not quite to the top.
- Place a piece of taut plastic wrap across the top of each cup.
- Poke a hole in the plastic wrap with the popsicle stick, letting the stick sink part way into the yogurt.
- Make sure that the stick is straight and in the center of the cup.
- Place the cups in the freezer.
- When the yogurt is frozen solid (1 to 2 hours), remove the plastic wrap.
- Peel the paper cup away from the yogurt.
- Enjoy!
If you want to add a little flare, follow the same steps, but only fill the cups 1/2 full. When they’re frozen, lift the plastic wrap, add another favorite yogurt flavor, replace the wrap and freeze the cups for a second time. You’ll have a tasty two-tone treat to enjoy.
