Travel Snack
Will you and your family be taking a trip this summer? Take these homemade snacks with you for a sweet treat along the way. Hint: Bring some napkins for sticky fingers. Don’t forget to ask an adult for help with this recipe.
- No-stick sauce pan
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 bag (10 ounces) of regular sized, white marshmallows
- 6 cups Kelloggs Rice Krispies
- No-stick cooking spray
- 9″ x 13″ pan
- Spatula
- Melt margarine in the no-stick pan over low heat.
- Empty the bag of marshmallows into the pan.
- Stir marshmallows over medium heat until completely melted.
- Add Rice Krispies and mix until well coated.
- Spray 9″ x 13″ pan with no-stick cooking spray.
- Pour marshmallow mixture into 9″ x 13″ pan
- Spread mixture evenly in pan and press flat.
- Let mixture cool.
- Cut into squares when cool.
- Enjoy!
