Watching movies is always just a little more fun with popcorn and candy.

Try this neat and easy recipe that combines both popcorn and candy into one.

Make sure you ask an adult for help with the ever-dangerous stove.

• 1 and 1/2 quarts popped popcorn
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup corn syrup
• 1/4 cup water
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• Baking pan
• Saucepan

1. Place the popped popcorn in a large deep buttered baking pan
2. Place in the oven at 250 degrees
3. Combine the sugar, corn syrup, water and butter in a medium saucepan over a low/medium heat
4. Heat until the sugar has dissolved
5. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the vanilla
6. Remove the popcorn from the oven, pour the mixture over the popcorn and mix well
7. Form into balls and let cool
8. Enjoy!
