A bowl of shiny red apples is both beautiful and healthy. This tasty recipe for applesauce is easy to make and involves no cooking. However, it does call for a blender. Be sure to enlist the help of an adult (who know what they are doing!) as an assistant.

• 2 small red apples
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 2 pinches of cinnamon
• measuring spoons
• peeler
• knife
• blender or food processor
• bowl

1. Peel the apples and cut them into 4 slices each.
2. Cut the core away from the slices and throw it away.
3. Cut the 8 apple slices into small pieces.
4. Put the apple pieces into the blender and add the lemon juice. Blend the mixture until it’s very smooth.
5. Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
6. Your applesauce is ready to serve!
