Homemade Applesauce
A bowl of shiny red apples is both beautiful and healthy. This tasty recipe for applesauce is easy to make and involves no cooking. However, it does call for a blender. Be sure to enlist the help of an adult (who know what they are doing!) as an assistant.
- 2 small red apples
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- measuring spoons
- peeler
- knife
- blender or food processor
- bowl
- Peel the apples and cut them into 4 slices each.
- Cut the core away from the slices and throw it away.
- Cut the 8 apple slices into small pieces.
- Put the apple pieces into the blender and add the lemon juice. Blend the mixture until it’s very smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the sugar and cinnamon.
- Your applesauce is ready to serve!
