In other cultures, some varieties of caterpillar are considered tasty treats! Here’s a caterpillar recipe that’s a little easier for everyone to swallow. This only uses four ingredients, but they make for the finest caterpillars you’ve ever tasted.

Don’t forget to ask an adult to help.

• A butter knife
• A banana
• 2 tablespoons peanut butter or sesame butter
• A grape

1. Peel the banana.
2. Slice the banana so that you have several circular pieces.
3. Spread peanut butter or sesame butter on one side of each slice.
4. Connect the banana slices, using the peanut butter side of a slice to “glue” to the plain side of another slice.
5. Place a grape at the front for the head, using peanut butter to attach it.
6. After enjoying your handiwork, eat up!
