Creepy Crawly Dessert
In other cultures, some varieties of caterpillar are considered tasty treats! Here’s a caterpillar recipe that’s a little easier for everyone to swallow. This only uses four ingredients, but they make for the finest caterpillars you’ve ever tasted.
Don’t forget to ask an adult to help.
- A butter knife
- A banana
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter or sesame butter
- A grape
- Peel the banana.
- Slice the banana so that you have several circular pieces.
- Spread peanut butter or sesame butter on one side of each slice.
- Connect the banana slices, using the peanut butter side of a slice to “glue” to the plain side of another slice.
- Place a grape at the front for the head, using peanut butter to attach it.
- After enjoying your handiwork, eat up!
