It’s summertime which means that it is now time to make some yummy summer snacks. Try this great recipe for frozen chocolate covered bananas. I bet the chimpanzees would love trying this delicious food! Make sure you ask an adult to help with you with the knife and stove.

• Cutting board
• Knife
• 6 wooden popsicle sticks
• Medium-sized cooking pan
• 3 bananas
• 1 12-oz package of chocolate chips

1. Peel each banana and cut in half lengthwise
2. Put one popsicle stick into the flat cut side of each banana
3. Place all of the bananas on a cookie sheet and place in the freezer for about 1-2 hours
4. Pour the chocolate chips into the cooking pan and heat over a low heat while continually stirring
5. Once all of the chocolate chips have melted turn off the heat
6. Slowly roll each banana in the chocolate until they are completely covered
7. Place the bananas on the cookie sheet and put back in the freezer until the chocolate freezes (about 1/2 hour)
8. Eat and enjoy!
