Candy Cake
Before you gobble up all of that candy you have stored away (or if you have some left over that you just can’t possibly think of eating) try out this great recipe that incorporates some of your favorite flavors. And probably many of your friend’s favorite flavors as well, since they are likely to want to help you eat it.
- What to do:“>
- Keep your candy bars in their wrappers and put them in the freezer.
- Make the angel or devil’s food cake according to the recipe on the box and let cool.
- Make the vanilla or chocolate pudding according to the recipe and let cool.
- While your cake and pudding are cooling, take your candy bars out of the freezer and use a rolling pin to crush them (make sure they are still in the wrappers). Once they are crushed, take them out of the wrappers and place the pieces in a bowl.
- Now you are ready to assemble your creation!
- Once the cake is cool, break it up into pieces and put some of the pieces in the bowl to form a bottom layer.
- Then, scoop out some of your cooled pudding and cover the pieces of cake to make a second layer.
- Next, scoop out some cool whip and layer it over the pudding to make a 3rd layer.
- Then, take some of your crumbled candy pieces and cover the cool whip layer to make a 4th layer.
- Repeat all of the steps until you have 8 layers of yumminess!
It’s ready to eat immediately. Enjoy!
