What is it like to participate in all the different media activities, especially pre-Olympic media activities?
I think it is fun to participate in all of these media activities. All of us have been doing it for a while now and I think it is a pleasure to talk about our team and ourselves when we get the opportunity. Team USA is a very unique team and we are all proud to be a part of it.

Baseball

Called “America’s Pastime,” Baseball has had an important place in American culture. Most cultures have some sort of stick and ball game, cricket being the most well-known in other parts of the world. Bicycle Race

The wheel was invented thousands of years ago, and used for carts and wagons, but it took a long time for anyone to come up with the idea of a bicycle!

The original bicylce is said to have been developed at the end of the 18th century by a French aristocrat. It had no pedals or steering wheel however, and was pushed forward much like the most junior child’s tricycle — by pushing with your legs against the ground.

Please tell us your short-term and long-term goals in the sport.
My short-term goal is really a daily goal - to get done everyday in the gym what my coaches have set out for me to do. My long-term goal is to make the 2004 Olympic Team and win some medals with my teammates. After that, I am really looking forward to watching my wife play beach volleyball in California. I also plan to open a gym with a few of my buddies.
