The history of Modern Pentathlon is one of the most exciting of the Olympic sports! The sport originated from a legend where a warrior has to surmount many obstacles to convey a message. This messenger had to not only battle on horseback, but to swim and run to complete his task.The roots of Modern Pentathlon can be traced to the ancient Pentathlon, a sport that included Discus, Javelin, Long-Jump, Running and Wrestling. This ancient form was incorporated into the ancient Olympic Games in 708 BC.

Training is going very well. I can’t complain. My bicep is feeling okay and everything is right on schedule. I won’t have in as many routines as I should have because of the injury. I’ve only been doing routines for about three weeks, but I still don’t feel too bad.

Yes, sometimes we play cards or golfing.

How many hours a day do you have to spend with family and friends?
I guess I actually have a lot of time because whenever I’m not in the gym I have time to be with them. I’d say I have probably about 4-5 hours when I’m not resting, practicing or sleeping each day.
