How do you feel about your performance at Trials?
I felt I had one of the best competitions ever even though I didn’t do floor or vault at the trials. I had a good feeling for some reason as soon as I got to California and set foot in the arena. I had such an amazing time last year at the Worlds and I felt a sense of comfort when I was back there in the arena.

Many other civilizations like those of China, Persia, Babylonia, Japan and Greece trained its people in swordplay for combat. How is preparation going for the Trials?
Training is going very well. I can’t complain. My bicep is feeling okay and everything is right on schedule. I won’t have in as many routines as I should have because of the injury. I’ve only been doing routines for about three weeks, but I still don’t feel too bad.
