Someone has murdered Samuel W. Westing, the wealthy and mysterious millionaire who lives on a hill above Sunset Towers. Sixteen of his “heirs” are gathered for the reading of his will; except the will turns out to be a contest to find out who has murdered Sam Westing. Two-by-two, the unlikely heirs to the fortune are paired up and given separate clues to help them unravel the murder. To top it off, one of the heirs is the murderer! Meanwhile, a raging blizzard, a cunning burglary and a freaky bombing add to the frenzied race to win the Westing Game.
